While ultra-light high-tech ceramic (Si3N4) is half the weight of standard Rado high-tech ceramic, it is even harder and more scratch-resistant. Inspiration takes many forms

The super modern materials and high-tech case construction contrast strongly but impressively with the dial design. Taking their inspiration from 20th Century pocket watches, the understated simplicity and unparallelled legibility of the brown sunray high-tech ceramic dials give these timepieces a classic appearance. 

 

In a continued study in contrasts, the brown version is presented on a sporty, vintage look NATO strap while the bronze edition has a brown aged leather strap.  It’s a perfect example of modern and traditional materials working in perfect harmony.
