Synechron Appoints New Managing Director for the Middle East Territory

Global IT service provider expands its presence in the region

Vimal Sethi has been appointed to the new role of Managing Director, Synechron Middle East. Synechron’s regional headquarters are based in Dubai, UAE. This new appointment highlights the company’s strategic ambition to solve the toughest technological challenges for clients, to offer high-end, skilled resources and 24/7 global delivery capabilities.

As the Managing Director for the Middle East, Vimal will be responsible for driving expansion plans across the MENA region. He will also be focusing on building relations with key enterprise businesses from the private and public sectors, existing customers and partners in the region.

Having previously worked as the Vice President & General Manager at Infusion Development Middle East, Sethi brings over 20 years of experience in technology, IT/software and consulting across the Middle East, US and Europe. Sethi is an established industry veteran with global experience, which includes strategic management, business development, partnerships, consulting services, digital agency services, system integration and outsourcing.

Prior to that, he also served nine years with Microsoft in a number of key roles at Corporate HQ in Seattle, EMEA HQ in Europe and most recently with Microsoft Gulf as Developer & Platform Group Lead, where he was responsible for technology marketing, adoption and satisfaction amongst the technical community in Gulf.

A natural strategist, Sethi grew up in Norway before going on to live in the UK, USA and the Middle East. He is adept in building teams within a multicultural environment; innovators who enjoy turning strategy into reality, and can quickly build teams and client relationships. He recognizes the value of the 'people element' of any business and is considered to be an innate leader.
