Dial-A-Battery Contributes Toward a Happy Eid for UAE Labourers

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: More than 500 labourers have received gift packs comprising of toiletries donated from Dial-A-Battery on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

Labourers from 10 camps across Sharjah and Dubai have been given packs comprising of a toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, nail clippers, razors and shampoo as part of Dial-A-Battery’s community outreach program.

Additionally, the local roadside rescue service has organised a brief talk detailing the importance of good hygiene practices, to be delivered by a pharmacist from Alpha Pharmacy.

“We hope that this little gift will provide not only useful items for the hard workers, but also be a celebration in the spirit of the joyous occasion of Eid Al Adha,” said Asad Badami, Managing Director of Dial-A-Battery.

“Dial-A-Battery is pleased to be able to contribute to our community in this way, and we will continue in the spirit and essence of giving throughout the year, not only during holy occasions. Our intention is to give back to the community in which we operate, and these efforts will be on-going,” Badami added.

Dial-A-Battery is a roadside car battery rescue service that provides battery solutions at car owners’ doorsteps, saving them the time and effort of having to visit a garage to replace a dead automotive battery.
