Middle East Cleaning Technology grows to add new Expos - Gulf Laundrex-Linen Care Expo and Gulf Car Wash-Car Care to its portfolio.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 11, 2015: Dubai Municipality has joined hands with the Middle East Cleaning Technology Week (MECTW) as their Sustainability Partner. In line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of UAE, and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, of achieving sustainable development throughout the country; MECTW and Dubai Municipality have taken a step together towards a sustainable future. 

Dubai Municipality’s commitment and innovative approach to sustainability and environmental issues will be visible at this year’s exhibition as they will be promoting their vision of creating a cleaner Dubai.

Commenting on the partnership, Eng. Abdulmajeed Saifaie, - Director of Waste Management Department, Dubai Municipality, said, “Dubai Municipality has always believed in working towards a cleaner Dubai, and a platform like Middle East Cleaning Technology Week will help spread this message.”

Added Jayaraman Nair, Chairman, VIS said, “We are honored to welcome Dubai Municipality as MECTW’s Sustainability Partner. Dubai Municipality is committed and working hard towards making Dubai one of the most sustainable cities in the world by 2020 and their partnership with MECTW is another step towards achieving this goal.”

The expo will be held from 2nd to 4th November, 2015 at Dubai International Exhibition Centre. For the first time, MECTW will make way for two new platforms - laundry and car wash - along with a special outdoor section dedicated to street cleaning solutions and equipment. 

With sustainable future as the prime goal, MECTW will bring all facets of the cleaning industry under a single umbrella; the expo will host more than 63 exhibitors from different parts of the world across industry segments. 

This year’s exhibition will be 30% larger than the previous edition with exhibitors displaying the latest technology in sustainable cleaning solutions. 
Companies like Intercare, Dhofar, Daitona, Vileda Professionals and Continental have confirmed their participation in CMEP. While others like, Trade X ME and Tech International are going to be participating at the Gulf Car Wash-Car Care Expo and Burnus, Natronic and Protek and others have their presence at Gulf Laundrex-Linen Care Expo.

Middle East Cleaning Technology Week will also play host to the Excellence Awards that identifies the ‘difference makers’ in the hospitality and laundry industry. The Excellence Awards incorporates three categories; Best Room Attendant, Exceptional Public Area Attendant and Best Supervisor-Room. Winners walk away with a cash prize and a certificate.

MECTW is the perfect opportunity for brands to promote themselves in this competitive and growing region. It is the perfect meeting point for industry players, big and small, to exchange ideas towards providing better services.
