April 28, 2015 - TeamQuest, a global leader in IT capacity planning and management solutions, is expanding its operations in the Middle East as part of the company’s strategic roadmap towards growing its presence in the region. In line with the expansion, TeamQuest will support IT infrastructures in the Middle East through its diverse portfolio of IT Service Optimization (ITSO) solutions and services that will help companies in the region take advantage of their IT performance and capacity management needs. TeamQuest’s decision to broaden its presence in the region is both timely and strategic as a recent study from International Data Corporation (IDC) shows that spending on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) products and services in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region is expected to cross the USD 270 billion mark this year, with the regional IT market poised to grow by nine per cent--making the MEA region the second-fastest growing IT market worldwide. Alf Benson, Regional Sales Director, TeamQuest, said, “Our software brings IT and the business together so both sides can make the right decisions at the right time in today’s hyper-connected and always-on business environment. Our customers can see and address performance and capacity problems before they’re experienced by their customer, which fulfills the customer experience and saves the company millions in potential lost revenue.” TeamQuest will offer its ITSO-based suite called TeamQuest Performance Software, which includes TeamQuest Analyzer, TeamQuest Surveyor, TeamQuest Predictor and TeamQuest CMIS. The performance and capacity product suite is suitable for today’s complex enterprise Apps to Server to Storage, Multi-Vendor, Cloud, and Virtualized environments. The continuous, scalable and automated service optimization solutions included in TeamQuest Performance Software enhance the efficiencies of critical IT operations such as health and performance monitoring and analysis, systems right-sizing, server consolidation and virtualization, and capacity planning for new apps.
