Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Printing the Holy Quran signs partnership with Darussalam Publishers Dubai, UAE, April 07, 2015: Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Holy Quran Printing has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Darussalam Publishers, one of the world’s most important printing and publication centres that specialises in print translations of the Holy Quran, as well as other Islamic books. The centre, a division of Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) - the official media organisation of the Dubai government - will work with Darussalam Publishers to make the holy text available in more than 30 languages. Founded on the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Holy Quran Printing is the first facility of its kind in the world to provide international quality standards of printing for the revered book.The center produces six million copies of the Holy Quran annually, with each production stage overseen by a group of religious specialists to ensure it meets the necessary requirements as stipulated by Islam. Faisal Bin Haider, Chief Executive Officer of Printing and Distribution Sectorat DMI, signed the agreement with Abdul Malik Mujahid, Operations Manager, DarussalamPublishers, for DMI to obtain intellectual property rights for the translations of the Holy Quran for three years, subject to renewal. “This agreement, signed to in line with the vison of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is extremely important, as it will allow Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Holy Quran printingaccess to intellectual property rights that will enable it to print translations of the Holy Quran in more than 30 languages, as well as provide other Islamic Books and theirtranslations services to other countries,” said Bin Haider. Mr. Abdul Malik Mujahid said: 'We are honoured today to have signed an agreement with Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Holy Quran Printing,which is considered the most advanced facility of its kind in the world. We hope that through this strategic partnership wewill be able to extend the reach of the Holy Quran to even more countries of the world and to provide important translations for other Islamic tracts and publications.” Darussalam Publisher’s experience extends to more than thirty years, with the organisation having a portfolio of more than 1,500 titles, with copies available in around 30 languages. The organisation’s services cover numerous countries including, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States of America.
