SamTech's latest initiative “Road to Sustainability” Program

Corporate Social Responsibility is the path toward business excellence

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 14, 2014: SamTech Middle East, the leader in Smart M2M Location Based and Telematics Services and On Board Diagnostics solutions, has initiated the “Road to Sustainability” program in partnership with the Dubai Chamber Sustainability Network and Dubai Internet City yesterday. This program is part of the Sustainability Awareness Campaign which aims to raise awareness on CSR and Sustainability amongst different business audiences.

A Series of workshops to discuss the role and importance of Corporate Social Responsibility to build sustainable businesses. Through this program various companies will run 4 sessions in April 2014 for the members of Dubai Internet City and Tecom.
The program started on April 8, 2014. The sessions focus on the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its impact on business performance and reputation.  The sessions will also focus on the 4 pillars of CSR i.e. workplace, marketplace, environment and community and implementation in these areas. 

The speakers at the session yesterday  stressed on the importance of looking at CSR and Sustainability as a strategic business tool  that has a positive impact on the community , environment , employees , customers and other stakeholders and at the same time creates benefits for the business in the form of enhanced  reputation and  performance. This program aims to raise the awareness about Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility and how this can lead to opportunities that ensure the growth and continuity of the businesses.

In this context, Mr. Samir Ibrahim Abdul Hadi, the Founder and CEO of SamTech: 'SamTech is following the sustainability development model based on the vision and directions of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai (may God protect him) that aims to achieve a sustainable business environment in Dubai. SamTech was awarded by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the CSR Label. This award is considered an indicator for companies that have done consistent and significant work in CSR and have a clear strategy to continue developing it.
