Kuwait, 07 April 2014: The technology, luxury and elegance of British motoring perfectly matched the gorgeous and glamourous designs of British fashion designer, Maria Grachvogel, as Ali Alghanim & Sons Automotive showcased a McLaren12C Spider during a Fashion Day event held in connection with the celebration of the ‘Great British Week’ at the Prestige Hall of The Avenues in Kuwait. Fashionably dressed up and decaled with the British flag, the car also earned the privilege of being the first vehicle ever put on display at the venue. A special guest of honor was the British Ambassador to Kuwait, His Excellency Frank Baker, who along with other high-ranking embassy staff checked out and praised the state-of-the-art and attractive features of the car. In addition, at an ‘Innovation is Great’ automotive event, which is also part of the Great British Week’ celebrations, Ambassador Baker led the parade driving the McLaren12C followed by the MINI R56, which was also dressed up with the British flag. The other British cars present at the event that later on also did laps inside the circuit were the Rolls Royce Ghost, the Range Rover Sport, and MINI countryman. Upon reaching the SIRBB circuit, the ambassador himself took several laps while still onboard the McLaren12C. Visibly impressed and amazed with the McLaren12C, Ambassador Baker encouraged the crowd to make sure to try out fantastic car during his message.
