Dubai, November 5, 2013: Aston Martin today unveils the extreme new V12 Vantage S and luxurious Vanquish Volante at the 2013 Dubai International Motor Show. Having taken the wraps off the stunning CC100 Speedster Concept as part of its ongoing centenary celebrations, Aston Martin has now introduced the new Vanquish Volante – the convertible iteration of the ultimate Vanquish GT launched earlier this year - and the ferocious new V12 Vantage S – the fastest series production car yet created by the British luxury brand. Also making its Middle East debut today is the new Vanquish Volante – the most powerful Volante Aston Martin has ever produced. Combining 100 years of Aston Martin's ‘Power, Beauty, and Soul' with the joy of open-top driving, the Vanquish Volante is, indeed, the ultimate grand tourer. With the AM11 V12 powerplant producing 573 PS, the Vanquish Volante is also the quickest Volante produced to date – and the 4.1 seconds it takes to reach 60 mph from standstill is testimony to this. The Volante's performance is evenly matched by typically precise and creative design and engineering and every detail has been intricately crafted to complement the Vanquish Volante's appeal. The Vanquish coupe, which marked the beginning of Aston Martin's centenary celebrations in Dubai at the start of this year, has received a tremendous response in the Middle East and the Volante only adds, substantially, to Aston Martin's presence and versatility. Taking performance potential to its peak, meanwhile, is the new V12 Vantage S – a truly extreme evolution of the Vantage sports car series. Boasting the AM28 V12 engine in its most brutal state of tune yet the V12 Vantage S is capable of more than 200mph. The 6.0-litre V12 engine develops up to 573 PS and 620 Nm of torque – a full 100 Nm more than its predecessor the V12 Vantage. This equates to a 0 to 60 mph time of only 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 205mph, making it the fastest series production car ever to be built by Aston Martin, with the exception of the limited edition One-77.
