HE Abdulrahman bin Mohammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, stressed that the Flag Day is a national occasion that fuels our pride in the country and reflects the Union's strength, social cohesiveness, and national sovereignty. Speaking on the occasion of the UAE Flag Day, which falls on November 3 of every year, Al Owais said: 'We are fully committed to preserving and defending the UAE flag, the source of our pride and sovereignty, and will make every effort to protect the nation’s gains to sustain our successes under a wise leadership that strives to take our people to new horizons of growth and prosperity.' 'On the national flag day, we renew our pledge of allegiance to serving the nation under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to solidify the UAE’s development journey, taking advantage of the milestones that we have achieved in the past 50 years, which has become a source of inspiration for many people around the world.'
'Under our flag, we have embarked on our journey towards the next 50 years to boost the UAE’s position among the world's top countries and promote the values of openness, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among citizens as well as residents,' the minister said.
