Visitors will enjoy an adrenaline fuelled urban weekend filled with exceptional activities Abu Dhabi - 3rd March 2016: Yas Mall, the leading destination for shopping, dining and entertainment, will celebrate the advent of the Red Bull Air Race, the world’s fastest motor-sport series, right in the heart of the mall. Families will be thrilled by the range of urban shows and workshops taking place at Yas Mall from the 3rd -5th of March. The urban street scene will feature a ramp for the skateboarders in Town Square, along with a towering highline tightrope set up over the space, 6m high on the first floor. Activities will include seven fantastic shows including beat box, BMX, breakdancing, skateboarding, parkour, highline, and football freestyle. In addition, and featuring the world’s best pilots, the Red Bull Air Race will offer enthusiasts and spectators the perfect racing destination as the skilled air racers perform some jaw dropping stunts and racing techniques on the mid-air racetrack. Red Bull athletes at the top of their profession will also hold workshops to talk about their best moments and share insider tricks. Visitors can also enjoy four sets of workshops every day, in breakdance, freestyle football, parkour and skateboard/ BMX/ inline skating. The Yas Mall urban weekend celebrates the Red Bull Air Race that returns to UAE Capital in partnership with Abu Dhabi Sports Council, flying back in Abu Dhabi for the ninth time to open the World Championships from 11 - 12 March. Over two days, pilots will take to the Corniche to race across a 6km slalom course filled with 25m-high pylons - a race track of three dimensions with a stunning seaside backdrop.
