Ltd. experienced a sales surge at this year’s GITEX Shopper, with total sales doubling on last year’s show. Samsung’s TV division did even better, clearing triple what it sold during GITEX Shopper 2013, and signaling high demand for its line of large-screen UHD TVs. To see triple the sales for the TV division is a gratifying sign that our one-of-a-kind products are exciting consumers across the UAE.” Known for its high footfall and hot promotions, GITEX Shopper is coveted for bringing in sales spikes for power retailers, but the record number of visitors to this year’s GITEX and Samsung’s strong product line-up has made 2014 a bumper year for sales.
