October 9, 2013: Representatives from Health Authority – Abu Dhabi (HAAD) visited Tawam Hospital in Al Ain today (Wednesday, October 9, 2013) at 11:00 am to lift up the spirits of children with cancer and ensure that they receive the best possible treatment. The HAAD team – comprising Dr. Asma Al Manaei, Manager of the Community Health & Surveillance Department; Dr. Jalaa Taher, Manager of the Non-Communicable Diseases Department; and Dr. Farida Al Hosani, Manager of the Communicable Diseases Department- collaborated with hospital personnel to deliver a short lecture on patient care. They then went around the cancer ward to distribute gifts to young patients.
