December 10, 2020- Ajman Free Zone has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Digital Ajman during GITEX Technology Week 2020 in an effort to boost the free zone’s digital services and capabilities. H.E. Eng. Ali Abdulla bin Towaih AlSuwaidi, Director General of Ajman Free Zone, and H.E. Ohoud Shehail, Director General of Department of Digital Ajman, inked the service-level agreement that is expected to not only enhance the free zone’s digital services but also deliver exceptional customer experience.

This strategic partnership is in line with the strategic directions of the free zone to develop its digital infrastructure and bring customer happiness. The collaboration is also according to the directives of Ajman’s wise leaders to modernize public services, foster a digital culture in the emirate and ensure that the people benefit from the government’s enormous technical and technological resources. Under the terms of the MoU, the Department of Digital Ajman will provide a bundle of four services - namely infrastructure as a service, software as a service, digital platforms as a service and cybersecurity as a service- to the free zone as the latter aims to fast-track its digital transformation journey.
