Dubai, November 25, 2015: Credence High School, a leading CBSE curriculum school, is all set to host the second annual Credence UAE Quiz Masters Tournament, one of the largest inter-school quiz contests in the UAE. Following the success of the first edition in 2014, the UAE Quiz Masters Tournament 2015 has gone nation-wide and is welcoming participation from schools across the UAE, irrespective of the curricula they follow. 

The quiz will take place in the auditorium of the sprawling campus of Credence High School on Sunday, November 29, 2015. The Tournament aims to be an interactive and knowledge sharing session for both students as well as the audience present at the event.

Commenting on the tournament, Mr. Abdulla Nalapad, Chairman, Credence High School, said, “We are very pleased to host the second edition of the Credence UAE Quiz Masters Tournament. We believe this is a great platform for students of schools across the UAE to exhibit their knowledge and skill, and steering them towards a bright future. At Credence, we don’t just focus on empowering student with bookish knowledge, but also encourage their creative thought processes and analytical thinking.”

The competition is open to students of grades nine to 12 belonging to all curriculum schools from across the UAE increasing the participation from last year. Schools have been permitted to send a maximum of five teams each; with each team comprising a maximum of three students. More than 100 students are expected to participate in the event. 

Aayush S. Rajasekaran, a Dubai bred student, and currently the President of the University of Waterloo’s QuizBowl Club in Canada, will be the Quizmaster for the tournament; thus making the competition '”for students, of students and by student” in every respect.

The event will be held over one full day, from 9am to 4pm, in an open quiz format and not limited to a specific topic. The event will begin with written eliminations, and will gradually move towards the top eight teams in the semi-finals, and eventually the top four in the finals. Winning and Runner Up schools will take away the Rolling Trophies; and individual trophies and gift hampers will be presented to students 

The Credence High School is located behind Al Khail Mall, Al Qouz, Dubai.
