There will be 8 categories for boys (Under 11 to Under 19) and 7 categories for girls (Under 12 to Under 19). The Dana Cup has a unique international atmosphere, offering challenges and experiences in one of the most beautiful places in Denmark.

Stars from international soccer participated in the Dana Cup before their names became known all around the world. Like Zé Roberto from the Brazilian national team, or Denmark’s Brian Laudrup and Peter Schmeichel - European Champions from 1992.

Every year the Dana Cup also presents some of the most famous youth clubs from around the world. For example, Pequeninos do Jockey from São Paulo in Brazil, Chivas Guadalajara, Cruz Azul from Mexico or Ipswich Town FC from England.

Russell Rosario, Head Coach of Future Star FC Dubai, confirmed that the club will participate in Dana Cup 2015 with 3 teams: Boys Under-16 and Under-17 and Girls Under-16 respectively.

The 3 teams began intense training in Dubai two months ago mentored by Russell Rosario (Head Coach), Savio Cardozo (Senior Coach/Team Manager) and Wellington Fernandes (Technical Director); who are all accompanying the 3 teams to Denmark.

At Dana Cup 2015, the 3 Future Star FC Dubai teams will compete against teams from some of the world’s biggest soccer nations, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Mexico, Portugal, Norway, Spain and many more.

Future Star FC Dubai was started in 1992 with the aim of promoting the love for the game and to challenge every player, boy or girls, to aspire to greater heights. To date, Future Star FC Dubai has participated in various tournaments in the UAE, and having won a number of them, are all set to stamp their mark on the international scene with Dana Cup 2015.

In 2014, the boys’ team competed in The Great Wall Cup 2104, International Youth Football Tournament, held in Beijing, China, by merging teams with CFF Academy as Dubai Expats XI.

The Dana Cup 2015 represents the first international outing for the Future Star FC Dubai girls’ squad. The team consists of students from various private schools in Dubai. This is the first time that an Under-16 girls' squad from the Gulf Coopertaion Council/Middle East is participating in the Dana Cup.
