Dubai, June 28, 2015: Smartworld, an Etisalat and Dubai World Central joint venture company, has been awarded the globally recognized ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 certification for Information Technology Service Management, establishing its market leadership and providing it a clear competitive differentiation in the region. The certification demonstrates Smartworld’s service management excellence and its adherence to best practices in IT service management. The International Standard also ensures adoption of IT infrastructure library (ITIL®) best practice framework that is respected and recognized globally.
