Dubai, April 26, 2015: Emirates Post Group and the Republic of Djibouti in postal are exploring cooperation in postal and related services.

This follows a visit by HE Osman Moussa Dirar, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti, to the first postal Zone in Abu Dhabi. The Ambassador and his delegation were welcomed by Mr. Sultan Al Midfa, CEO for Postal Operations, Emirates Post Group, along with the Director of the 1st Postal Zone.

The two sides reviewed opportunities for cooperation and development in postal fields and exchange of expertise between the two brotherly countries.

Mr. Al Midfa expressed his pleasure over the visit and hoped that the meeting would boost cooperation between the two countries in postal and related fields.

The delegation was briefed on the achievements and goals of Emirates Post Group, including advanced postal strategies and streamlined operations in line with today's needs and aspirations of the future.

On his part, H.E. Osman Moussa Dirar, while praising the quality of postal services provided by Emirates Post Group, highlighted the need to issue joint stamps to reflect the close ties between the two countries, and expressed the hope that the visit would strengthen postal relations between Djibouti and the UAE.
