WTD hosts International DJ Awards Night 2014

The Music Scenario in the UAE has dramatically evolved thereby heralding in a new era of recognition for the unsung heroes of the industry - the Dj.

WorldTopDj.com (WTD) holder of Guinness world record for “LONGEST CLUB DJ SESSION RELAY” organized an awards ceremony to honor the best Middle East, Asian and International DJ’s in various categories. The star of the music industry glittered at a glamorous event held at Studio F Lounge, Emirates Tower, Dubai.

WTD hold the title to the most DJs to consecutively mix one record each is 119 and was achieved by World Top DJs (UAE) during the My Music X Village music festival at the Dubai International Marine Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on 28 March 2013.

It brought to UAE, yet another first by organizing this DJ Awards night. The nominees were voted for across the world including UAE through the website, www.worldtopdj.com a site dedicated to ensuring the promotion of this genre and to provide an ideal platform for the mutual benefit of both the Dj and the end user.

The main categories included the World’s best mix master DJ title bagged by DJ Cowboy a renowned name in this field all across the Middle East, his experience and expertise have earned him the rights to headlining many international gigs in the region. Music is not just a passion it’s the very air he breathes, his unrelenting efforts at evolving the music scene with his technical input has aptly earned him his title.

Title for the Sexiest Female DJ was conquered by the stylish DJamila Celina, from Denmark. The title for Middle East Most Favorite Female International DJ was taken home by Dj Sabrina from Germany while the number uno title for the Best European Dj was bagged by Dj Vlader from Germany. Worlds’ best house DJ was rightly earned by Bob Sinclair.

In a star studded ceremony hosted by DJ Dragger from USA, the titles were crowned and special awards taken home by Bong Events for partnering European events with WTD. A worthy mention is of a regionally renowned Media House which captured the award for Best Middle East PR & Media Management was Wajood Media.
