Abu Dhabi 5 March 2014 - Mr Ahmed Abu Abdo, a Palestinian, has won the prize in the second contest organized by our www.hotelandrest.com website. Mr Abdo said he was delighted to win the prize for a free stay at the Tilal Liwa Hotel in the western region, adding that it would be the first time that he and his family will be staying this luxury hotel. He was handed the prize for a one-night free stay and breakfast for two persons by the hotel’s sales manager Selim Khan Arifov, who congratulated him and wished him a pleasant stay. According to the website’s manager, Mrs Haneen Al Dawoud, Mr Abdo, an information technology employee at the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, won the prize after beating more than 7,000 contestants. She wished good luck to participants in the third contest which is set to be launched this week. Mrs Dawoud said the aim of the contest is to promote tourism in the UAE and to encourage guests and visitors to explore key tourism sites in the country. “We also want to promote the tourism and travel culture among people,” she added. She urged viewers of the site to take part in the upcoming contest to win one of such prizes involving free stay and meals at major hotels in the UAE and other coutnries.
