 Dubai, November 11, 2013 – Hyatt Regency Dubai has appointed Rabah Abusbaitan as the new Hotel Manager. In his current role, Rabah will assist the General Manager to oversee the hotel's day to day operations and overall strategic planning. A Jordanian national, Rabah holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from the California Culinary Academy, San Francisco, USA and an Associate Degree in Accounts from the United States of America. He joined Hyatt Hotels in October 2001 and has extensive experience within the company. He started with Hyatt Hotels in the role of Executive Sous Chef at Hyatt Regency Taba Heights, Egypt. In September 2002, he was part of the pre-opening team at Grand Hyatt Dubai in the capacity of Chef de Cuisine and was later promoted to Executive Sous Chef. In June 2005, Rabah was transferred to Grand Hyatt Amman, Jordan, as an Executive Chef and thereafter moved to the role of Director of Food & Beverage in the same hotel. In September 2011, he was transferred to Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where he held the position of Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage, until he joined Hyatt Regency Dubai as Hotel Manager.
