Well-known fashion brand, Promod held a series of unique activities on the 10th of October to mark breast cancer awareness month. As a mark of respect to the cause and in a bid to raise awareness about it, the prominent brand hosted a synchronized event across all their stores in the UAE revolving around the Breast Cancer “Think Pink” theme. As part of the campaign, the staff of each store sported the pink ribbon that is synonymous with the cause. Additionally, every guest to the store on this day was treated to a special pink cupcake embellished with the pink ribbon that reiterated both the significance of the cause and Promod's dedication to it. A fashionable touch was lent to the event held at the Dubai Mall branch of Promod as the occasion coincided with the Vogue Fashion Dubai experience that took place on the same day in the mall. A true celebration of fashion, the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience also dedicated itself to different causes and was the fitting occasion for Promod to commemorate the breast cancer awareness initiative. Taking it a step further, Promod Dubai Mall also collaborated with Bourjois, the prominent cosmetics brand that celebrated its 150th anniversary this year, to present every visitor who purchased items worth a certain amount with a special gift from Bourjois. Committed to the initiative, the fashion brand has been involved with the cause previously too through different events and campaigns that helped enhance awareness and educate people about breast cancer.
