UAE, 21 July, 2018 - The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) has revealed that USD 518 million worth of fertilizers were exported by the Arab region to Brazil from first six months of this year. According to the ABCC, the high number of fertilizers exported from the Arab region into Brazil demonstrates the strong ties maintained by countries like the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain and Egypt among others. In fact, Kuwait hits USD 58.64 million worth of fertilizers exports to Brazil, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia exported USD 48.13 million, while UAE USD 42.87 million, Egypt USD 32.53 million and Bahrain posted USD 24.88 million. The vibrant export activity also reflects Brazil's keenness towards working closely with countries within the Arab region. “We are proud to announce that the Arab world exported a total of USD 518 million worth of fertilizers to Brazil. Most Arab countries performed excellently during the first six months of 2018. Brazil continues to express its commitment towards working closely with countries in the Arab world in order to help increase mutual trade across all markets, including fertilizers,” concluded Michel Alaby, Secretary General and CEO, ABCC.
