Heathrow Airport delegation applauds Dubai Customs services

Dubai - 11 November 2017:  A delegation from Heathrow Airport applauded the world class level of services rendered by Dubai Customs through customs entry points at Dubai International Airport. 

The British delegation, upon their visit to Passenger Operation Department at Dubai International Airport, toured the place and were briefed on the best practices implemented by Dubai Customs to serve passengers and clients in the best possible way using the latest equipment and technology. 

The British delegation, headed by Elizabeth Down, head of detection unit at Heathrow Airport, was received by Falah Khalil Al Sammak, manager of passenger customs operations at DXB Terminal 2, Salim bin Faris Al Katbi, head of internal monitoring unit. Sara Al Suwaidi, senior manager, government affairs- Customs World. 

The visiting delegation toured the units of passenger operation department at terminal 3 to learn more about the best practices used in making clients and employees happier. The visitors were also viewed the latest equipment used to facilitate inspection for an easier experience to the passengers. 

At the end of the visit the British delegation thanked Dubai Customs for its hospitable reception, and called for more benchmarking visits between the two sides in the future for a better exchange of knowledge and experience.
