Dubai, UAE, October 22, 2017: UAE Team Emirates’ Filippo Ganna has been crowned the Individual Pursuit European Champion. Following his silver medal in the 2017 World Championships, the Italian rider rode to victory on Saturday evening in Berlin, Germany wearing the Italian national team kit and riding on a Colnago bike. Commenting on his success, Filippo Ganna said; 'I'm very happy I succeeded in being very competitive on the track in my first season as a pro. This season I focused on road racing, being part of an important World Tour team with UAE Team Emirates. I'm proud of this title, I share the joy with my fans, with the Italian national team members and with my team, UAE Team Emirates, who support me every day.”
