 Dubai, UAE - April 27, 2017: Last night, Netflix hosted “A Night In With Netflix” - a unique event - showcasing the world of entertainment available on the streaming platform across the Middle East. Guests were thrilled to walk in the shoes of Eleven from Stranger Things in the custom-made replica set, before being transported into the Marvel’s living room to watch Chef’s Table come to life before their eyes. With a dedicated #SheRules area which celebrated the powerful ladies who rule our Netflix screens, guests were able to try on the crown of Queen Elizabeth and see what it’s like to take to the throne at the young age of twenty-six. The menu throughout the evening depicted the original shows found on Netflix, including glow in the dark beverages on arrival (aka Stranger Things), and traditionally British fare including a mini Sunday Roast and Welsh Rarebit in theme with The Crown. Firm favorites included The Dark Knight mocktail, which brought to life the Marvels series and the Alabama Slammer from The Get Down. Throughout the evening Netflix showcased a number of their key shows, including The Crown, GLOW, Bright, Girlboss and Orange Is The New Black, encouraging guests to undertake their own entertainment discovery on Netflix. With more than 600 new original series, movies, documentaries, stand-up comedies and kids TV shows coming in 2017, Netflix encourages members to watch as much as they want, whenever the want and on any internet connected device.
