iXOOST’s new AURUM series (latin for gold) has a finish in 24K gold Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 08 November 2015 - iXOOST, the brand of the exclusive audio docking station inspired by the automotive world, presents AURUM the new customised line, an exclusive and precious treatment of 24K gold finish which offers all enthusiasts of custom-builds and the most exclusive Made in Italy and exciting way of listening to music. The AURUM line for the OttO and Radial6 docking stations is characterised by some details having a finish in pure gold which in contrast to the chromatic effect of the bases carriers, amplifies the sparkling effect and the visual sensation of shine. The different colours express the racing character even more, a character which is not just unique, but also technical and sophisticated. It is the combination of passion and exclusivity that led to the material and chromatic design of the AURUM series. Gold is the real star of this limited series in addition to the numerous customisations already available for iXOOST audio systems. This “bespoke Italian” concept is the real added value: each customer can design and create their very own docking station without limits. Each docking station is carved out of a solid block of aluminium, bringing together pieces turned and milled using five-axis machines, before being joined together with the exhaust manifold.1 The sound flows with the same speed as the exhaust gases, thanks to a special combination of surface treatments2, able to reduce friction to a minimum and bring to mind the unmistakeable timber of the engine of a single-seater. The iPhone® or the iPod® can provide the input for symphonies, legendary rock concerts or even recordings of the roar of Formula 1® cars, all with an exceptional technical level of sound reproduction, thanks to the presence of specially developed loudspeakers and an active 140-watt subwoofer offering a quite unique listening experience.
