International School of Arts & Sciences students excel at International Benchmark Test – IBT

37 students were among the top students worldwide, some of them with a score of 99.9%

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (June 22, 2015): Students of International School of Arts & Sciences (ISAS) successfully completed the International Benchmark Test (IBT) held recently. 76 students passed the test with flying colors, thereby demonstrating the academic strength of the school’s curriculum which encourages practice based learning.

The International Benchmark Test (IBT), IBT is one of many high-quality educational assessments developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), a world leader in educational research, assessment and reporting. Covering the subjects of English, Mathematics and Science, the program assessed the performance of students in years 3 to 10.

The 37 students who finished with a ‘high distinction’ score of 95-99% were also among the top students worldwide, some of them with a phenomenal score of 99.9%. 39 students achieved a score of 90-94% with distinction in marks which placed them amongst the top in the UAE. The list included 13 UAE Nationals.

ISAS Students participating in the IBT Testing Program also received an individual report and a certificate of achievement for each test they completed. The report will assist students in identifying strengths and challenges in key concepts and skills. The evaluation also allows them to benchmark their progress against other students in their school, and amongst national and international scores.

ISAS, under the guidance of its parent body Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI), undertakes several internationally recognized assessments to facilitate the overall development of their students in all areas of education. Students who excel in these assessments are duly rewarded by the school for their exceptional performance, and motivated to participate in other beneficial tests.
