Mediclinic City Hospital, Mediclinic Welcare Hospital, Mediclinic Dubai Mall and all other Mediclinic Middle East facilities will provide complimentary blood cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure and BMI checks on 29 September at 11 different locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi Dubai, UAE, 24 September 2014: Mediclinic Middle East is once again offering free heart health checks to mark World Heart Day.
On 29 September, complimentary assessments which include random blood cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar and Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements will be available to all, as follows (no appointment necessary): • Ibn Battuta Mall, China Court, from 2pm to 8pm (health checks provided by Mediclinic Ibn Battuta)
• Dubai Marina Mall from 10am - 10pm (health checks provided by Mediclinic Al Sufouh)
• World Trade Centre Mall, Abu Dhabi, from 2pm - 8pm (health checks provided by Mediclinic Corniche)
• Etihad Mall from 4pm - 10pm (health checks provided by Mediclinic Mirdif)
• Madina Mall from 12pm - 6pm (health checks provided by Mediclinic Al Qusais)
• Aswaaq, Al Badaa from 2:30pm - 8:30pm (health checks provided by Mediclinic Beach Road)
• Arabian Ranches Community Center from 12pm - 6pm (health checks provided by Mediclinic Arabian Ranches)

• Mediclinic City Hospital from 8am - 2pm The focus of this year’s World Heart Day is creating heart-healthy environments and ensuring that people are able to make heart-healthy choices wherever they live and work. “Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in the UAE,” says Dr. Pietie Loubser, Chief Clinical Officer, Mediclinic Middle East. “Our programme of free health checks aims to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease and encourage individuals to reduce their cardiovascular risk.”
