Mohit Malhotra, CEO of Dabur International, has been honoured with the ‘International Achievement Award’ at the Annual Indian CEO Awards 2014 organized by CEO Middle East at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi in Dubai. He was recognised for his outstanding contribution towards making Dabur International a true global leader in personal and healthcare products and a household name in the Middle East. CEO Middle East is a monthly magazine that delivers intelligent analysis and strategic insights for chief executive officers across the Middle East. Malhotra joined Dabur International in 1996 and was promoted to the position of CEO in 2008. He has spearheaded the group to an overwhelming success through market leading strategies of expansion and acquisition, registering an overall turnover of AED 1.2 billion and a compound annual growth rate of 40 per cent. Dabur International undertook two major acquisitions, namely Hobi Kozmetik, a leading personal care company in Turkey and Namaste Laboratories, a well-known African-American Hair Care company based in Chicago, USA - under the strategic growth vision of Malhotra, enabling the company to gain entry into new markets. Dabur today has become an internationally recognized brand with a considerable brand value. The Annual Indian CEO Awards 2014 recognizes and rewards outstanding achievements, business excellence and valuable contribution of Indian CEO’s to the region’s robust business arena.
