Dubai – 5 December, 2013: Marking 42 years of prosperity and giving in the UAE and the announcement of Dubai hosting the Expo2020, Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI), a leading academic solutions provider which manages both ISAS and Al Mawakeb Schools, celebrated the nation's 42nd National Day today in a day-long celebration with several activities initiated by the schools. The programs commenced with the Scouts troop march and the UAE National Anthem in both schools. Al Mawakeb Schools and ISAS were adorned with UAE flags, confetti and traditional displays to portray the spirit of solidarity and unity that mark the National Day celebrations. In addition to the above festivities at ISAS included a program by Civil Defense and Dubai Police, which demonstrated the spirit and honor of UAE's National Day. “The 'Spirit of the Union' prevails through the various initiatives conducted at all AMSI schools. Through these activities our aim is to educate not only our students, but the community alike, about the rich history and commendable achievements of the nation. It is truly an inspiring story which has a great message, proving that anything is possible. This is the attitude we want our students to be motivated by and live by now and in the future', added Mr. Muhieddine Soubra, Principal at ISAS. At the entrance of Al Mawakeb Schools in Al Garhoud and Al Barsha, visitors were greeted with UAE pins, flags and decorated cupcakes to get them into the spirit. Once inside the premises of the schools, people were able to experience authentic UAE hospitality, including traditional Arabic Yola dance by local students, Dabke shows and a National Day parade lead by students dressed in national dress. The scouts troops commemorated the event by transforming the Dubai Skyline to the “Spirit of the Union” painting. Commenting on the celebrations, Alissar Nasr-Soubra, AMSI CAO stated, “42 years and going strong... What we witness today is a reflection of the UAE represents… We are proud to have been and continue to be part of this fantastic journey… Happiest people indeed... today, tomorrow, and every day.... what a glorious moment, what a phenomenal country... what an amazing leadership... what a remarkable spirit... what a feeling of absolute pride, joy, excitement.... what an honor to be part of it...
