Sharjah, November 11, 2021 History, fantasy and retrofuturistic technology collided at the 40th Sharjah International Book Fair at Expo Centre Sharjah as a group of Steampunk travellers made their way through the fair’s halls and lobbies in elaborate costumes and headgear, inspired by adventure and exploration. The Steampunk characters travelled through space and time with their spiral clocks and hot air balloons in ornate Victorian Age costumes. The performers from Bremen-based Stelzen-Art in Germany, spread happiness and joy as they roamed the SIBF 2021 venue, enthralling visitors and guests of all ages.
