Dubai, January 22, 2017: A large number of P.O. Box holders have started renewing their subscriptions for 2017, as the deadline of January 31, draws near. Emirates Post has advised subscribers not to wait for the last minute to renew their subscription.

The renewal can be done through multiple channels: at all post offices, Emirates Post Group’s website (www.epg.gov.ae), and through mobile app of EPG. Those renewing at post offices are required to produce their valid national ID card at the time of renewal.

“Due to the huge number of P.O. Boxes due for renewal, we advise subscribers to renew well before the deadline, in order to avoid last-minute rush. In addition, we also encourage them to use the option of renewing online using our mobile app, thus saving their time and effort,” said Acting CEO of EPG, Mr. Abdulla Mohammed Alashram. “The advantage of renewing early is that it gives subscribers sufficient time to gather additional or updated documents, if required.”

Subscribers who renew after the due date of January 31, 2017, are liable to pay a fine for late renewal.
