The event was Presented by CLIKON and supported by Lulu International Exchange & Emami Group Dubai, UAE, April 19, 2016: Swasthya, an initiative conceptualized and executed by Max Reach Advertising LLC, is an ongoing health camp activity since April 01, 2016, conducted on every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until May 28, 2016. Swasthya is a mobile health camp being conducted at over 25 labour camps around the UAE, with an aim to provide health checks and educate the participants about physical and mental health, hygiene and well-being. The initiative has currently reached 100,000 workers in the region. The sponsor partners for the event are Clikon, Life n Rich, Navratna plus, Fair and Handsome and Lulu International Exchange along with Medeor 24x7, who is providing the expertise and conducting the health camp. We would like to thank them for backing such a noble event.” Swasthya has been conceptualized to work on a comprehensive schedule that will bring long term benefits to the participants: Mobile Health Camp - A Professional Medical camp by Medeor Hospital at the venue which is conducting general health, BP and Diabetes tests for the workers. Health, Hygiene and Safety Training - ‘Swasthya’ is a special program to raise awareness among the workers about workplace safety and health and to provide an understanding of the skills required in creating safe and healthy work environment. It will provide basic health and hygiene information to keep away from infectious diseases, safety and emergency measures to deal with heat related injuries and illness, personal hygiene and food safety, the work-related injuries and illnesses and their prevention. The program also shows ways to keep up with sound mental health when in workplace and at camp and how workers can communicate with others, including people in authority, when they feel unsafe or threatened. Fun And Entertainment - A brief 40 minute interactive and stimulating entertainment program keeps the workers hooked in training. There are also on-stage prizes during entertainment program at break times. The workers are given free samples from Emami, free coupons and points and many other freebies.
