SHARJAH26/03/2015 - Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) successfully participated in the recently concluded Cebit 2015 exhibition in Hannover, Germany.

The exhibition, world's largest information and communications technology trade show, featured a variety of trade shows, conferences, seminars and corporate events. Some 3,300 exhibitors from 70 countries participated in the event.

“We are keen on digital transformation, the internet of things, IT security and unified communications and Cebit was an outstanding platform for us to highlight our facilities internationally. We met a number of representatives from global IT companies and many of them are interested in doing business in the Middle East” said Saud Al Mazrouei, Director of SAIF Zone and Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA).

“We are eager to develop smart technology to meet the requirements of investors and to ensure the best services for them. In addition, we are going to launch a new portal which will provide a number of new services for our investors” he added.

“Currently a number of IT companies have been operating from SAIF Zone, and we hope that more hardware and IT logistic companies will join us in the near future” concluded Al Mazrouei

SAIF ZONE had a special booth in the exhibition that showcased innovative IT solutions, product apps and software offerings. Many of these apps have been designed specifically to strengthen customer service and enhance the customer's experience.

The SAIF ZONE today has over 6675 companies from 148 countries, carrying out varied business activities like light to medium manufacturing, trading and providing services such as IT and consultancy.
