Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted yesterday wearing a sweater from the new G-Star RAW for the Oceans collection, as she dropped her twins off at school in New York. Looking happy and relaxed, Sarah combined the G-Star RAW sweat with denim and a large felt hat, reminiscent of the one worn by Pharrell Williams. Coincidentally, Pharrell Williams, known for his global hit ‘Happy’, is co-designer of the RAW for the Oceans collection. Every jean, tea and sweat in the collection contains plastic that has been recovered from the world’s oceans and reworked into innovative Bionic Yarn. As said by Pharrell and quoted on Sarah’s sweater, the aim of the collection is: “Happy life. Happy human beings. Happy Oceans.” Alongside sweats like the one worn by Sarah, the collection also contains the first-ever denim made from recycled ocean plastic. Available in all of G-Star’s UAE stores, the sweatshirt retails for AED 479.
