Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach Tree Planting for Planet 21 Initiative

For Global Earth Day, eco members of Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach and ambassadors of the 5-star hotel showed their commitment to sustainable development by planting trees in the gardens of Dubai Center for Special Needs. The initiative is in support of Planet 21, the Accor Sustainable Development Program, and this year a photo contest is organised through the properties worldwide. For every team picture, a tree will be planted in a plantation located in Vietnam. On the site of the Ngoc Van monastery, located in the village of Tu Bong, Accor helps the local population in the reforestation of degraded areas and fighting against soil erosion and drought.
