‘Proposal through to honeymoon' concept on display at opulent soiree Dubai, UAE, December 18, 2013: It was a case of ‘only the very best will do' on Sunday evening, when Ritz Carlton hosted a private gathering of VVIPs at its Jumeirah Beach Residence hotel. The renowned name in hospitality that is synonymous with the last word in luxury was marking the opening of its new outdoor garden ‘The Lawn' by holding ‘Once In A Lifetime', a bazaar like no other. To celebrate its launch, Ritz Carlton arranged for exclusive and prestigious brands to set up stall in the beautifully manicured open air facility. Among those attending was Aghareed, a bespoke bridal concierge service which is based in Galeries Lafayette in Dubai Mall. The organisation was invited to the evening soiree to showcase its range of luxury bridal accoutrements to the well-heeled guests in attendance. “Aghareed has pioneered the concept of a luxury wedding concierge service in Dubai. Ultimate exclusivity was the byword phrasefor the evening, with invitees including high net worth individuals from across the globe.Russian oligarchs and Indian royalty mingled easily with European aristocrats and the UAE's own elite of Sheikhs and Sheikahs, all looking to obtain that cachet of uniqueness that can be found as a quality of only the most opulent of luxury pieces. Among the glamorous and extravagant items catching the eye during the event, which took place from 6-10pm, were exquisite diamonds, boutique apparel and custom hand-made watches as prestigious exhibitors arrived to showcase their products and services for the affluent guests. The Lawn is the latest addition to the hotel's 35,000 square metres of landscaped gardens, with the facility also contains 350 metres of private white sandy beaches. Ritz Carlton JBR is situated across from the popular cosmopolitan thoroughfare, JBR Walk, currently Dubai's only beachfront promenade of luxury retail shops and al fresco restaurants and cafes.
