December 17th, Dubai, UAE- The Emirati Professional Footballer Abdulla Salem is standing beside the General Secretary of the UAE Disabled Sports Federation, Mr. Dhyban Salem El Muheiry to mark the moment he proudly offered his goodwill to advocate the UAE Disabled Sports Federation toward working side by side with a goal to support and grow the disabled sports at all levels. The aim of this visit is to encourage and support disabled heroes who honored and will continue to raise the flag of the country in the horizon and play the UAE national anthem in many tournaments and forums to come. Furthermore, the on-going support looks forward to strengthening and developing sports events and initiatives locally and overseas. “Every day I count my blessings,” said Abdulla Salem. “I’m able to play a sport I love, have a job and have a family that’s healthy. I am grateful for all that and I feel it’s my role to give back to the community. The more you do you’ll feel and see the impact that you are making a difference. ‘I am helping another person in need achieve a goal, a dream’. I think that’s where it starts and hopefully, it’s grown to how I can make a bigger impact”. “I have seen disabled athletes in action and I deeply respect and appreciate them, therefore I believe my fellows athletes deserve this humble gesture to support them perusing their dreams”, added Salem. Mr. Dhyban Salem El Muheiry admired Abdulla Salem’s initiative in support of the UAE athletes with enthusiasm. “I’m proud to see the new generation of Zayed’s sons. Abdulla is an idol among his peers an younger generations, and I’m certain to see the progress we’re able to achieve together through this support”.
