A special limited edition of the iconic Gufram Cactus designed by Drocco and Mello in 1972, developed in collaboration with Paul Smith. Available in a limited edition of just 169, the Gufram & Paul Smith Psychdelic Cactus combines Gufram’s irreverent coat hanger with the unmistakable colorful pattern of Paul Smith. The ironic totem, embodying the typical grit, determination, fantasy and humor of the ‘70s, becomes Psychedelic thanks to the blending of bright hues that characterize the use of color by Paul Smith, one of Britain’s foremost designers. The collaboration between Gufram and Paul Smith goes beyond design: the Cactus in its historic bright green version also appears woven into or printed onto garments and accessories in the Paul Smith Autumn/ Winter ’16 collection including shirts, ties, scarves and socks.
