Dubai, UAE, October 19, 2016: The 2016-2017 Fall-Winter Collection focuses on the eternal male, incorporating the essentials and expressing the ZILLI style with a singular alliance of contemporary elegance and audacity. The iconic jacket takes centre stage, its sharp lines to be in keeping with today’s desires. Shorter, fitted, with modernized metal fittings, this new jacket is available in a full chromatic palette with wonderful depth - blue, black and bordeaux. Trimmed with pearl grey python piping, the smaller straight-cut model in navy blue cashmere has a removable mink collar, another with storm grey rubber python piping.Textured with masterful diagonal quilting, the Athos jacket in glazed lambskin has tone-on-tone cashmere sleeves, while the suede leather version, another hide so emblematic of the ZILLI brand, is available in a magnetic burgundy with petrol blue crocodile details. Two of this season’s essentials have been combined in a slate grey astrakhan bomber that showcases the skills of the Lyon workshops. With a sophisticated astrakhan collar, overcoats are undoubtedly contemporary this season, such as this 7/8 in a silk knit with python detailing, which can be worn easily with brogues or with sneakers, or a modern peacoat in iron grey chinchilla with a matching alpaca lining and a contrasting shaved black mink collar that reflects the glazed lambskin on the two patch pockets. A straight cut three-button coat with mink collar cleverly incorporates suede darts worked into the cashmere. Reversible, the goosedown, shaved mink and glazed lambskin anoraks are naturally part of this essential wardrobe. In keeping with sartorial tradition, suits are cut in super 120 for an impeccable fi t and supreme elegance. Cashmere, tweed and flannel are worked in a modern Prince of Wales design. A three-piece suit with a five-button waistcoat in royal blue and a double-breasted jacket in pearl-gray cashmere plays with contrasts. The signature colour-gradients of the knitwear collection are equally essential. Colours have been sprayed or mixed using plaiting techniques to highlight the contrast of matt and gloss. This plum polo shirt with crocodile facing, a burgundy crewneck with contrasting collar or a zip-up cardigan with taupe and garnet stripes that is an invitation to mix and match. The same is true of shoes. A pair of arty boots in a majestic range of colours, from tobacco brown to blue, or brogues with raw uppers, taupe crocodile quarters and a glazed brown toecap. Essential moccasins can only be seen in black crocodile, whereas urban sneakers are bimaterial. A brand favourite, rubber python wraps around waists in the form of belts available in an exclusive trio of khaki, red-orange and storm grey, matching with a range of small leather goods. Python detailing on an urban pouch outlines the contours. The ultimate soft satchel is available in a velvet royal-blue crocodile and completes the menswear wardrobe.
