Soft and fluid textures, flower prints and worn out materials stand out among the new proposals, shot in Palm Springs by South African photographer Henrik Purienne. Dubai, UAE, March 27, 2016: Pull&Bear Pacific Girls, the collection that Inditex Group’s young fashion brand addresses to bohemian-spirited girls for a dynamic, open-air lifestyle, is back with fresh proposals where Californian inspiration and natural materials are key elements. Henrik Purienne, a South African photographer who specializes in female portraiture, has captured the essence of these new garments in a variety of natural locations in Palm Springs, California. Models Alexis Ren, Eline Van Hasteeren and Sophia Tatum star in this new editorial work. The collection uses extremely soft and fluid materials, such as suede or bambula, and occasionally retorts to transparency effects. Crochet and lace features underline the range’s feminine character, while flower prints provide a romantic touch and worn-out fabrics create a hand-made, vintage feel. The colour palette starts with off-white, pastel pink and maroon. Later in the season, it develops towards blue and mustard tones, which recall the American west coast’s typical ocean and desert landscapes the capsule collection draws inspiration from. As temperatures rise, more summery garments will make their appearence - print dresses and jumpsuits, tops, shorts, patched T-shirts… The collection also comes with a beachwear range where crochet bikinis stand out.
