It is a new era at Mulberry; Johnny Coca arrives this summer and takes over the reins as Creative Director. For Autumn Winter 2015, Mulberry has created a seasonal campaign with British photographer Alasdair McLellan and Mulberry muse Georgia May Jagger in a cinematic piece of brand storytelling set on the streets of Chelsea. The sun-lit red brick buildings were the perfect backdrop for a stylish, Seventies-inspired new collection. The campaign features the iconic Bayswater as well as new season bags the Roxette and the Mini Jamie, and is set to music by legendary British band The Jesus and Mary Chain. Georgia May Jagger, very much the current poster girl for London’s rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle was delighted with her role. In the campaign she is a more grown up and demure version of herself, inspired by a young Julie Christie. Serene and elegant with just a hint of a seductive smile, she is seen enjoying the freedom of London’s Chelsea. Georgia May Jagger said: 'Shooting the Mulberry campaign was great - it was so nice to be out on the streets of London! Chelsea is such an iconic place, I love the architecture. And of course, Mulberry is such a quintessentially British brand, so it was the perfect setting.' Mulberry's CEO Thierry Andretta said: 'Mulberry is proud to be British and it is important to keep this spirit of British cool alive as we continue our international growth. Mulberry is also proud to be the largest manufacturer of luxury leather goods in the UK.”
