Agfa HealthCare inaugurates new offices in Riyadh, reinforcing leadership in key Middle East healthcare market

Riyadh - March 20, 2014: Agfa HealthCare, a premier provider of integrated IT and imaging solutions, recently inaugurated its new offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of its efforts to consolidate its leading position in the Kingdom’s healthcare IT sector. The new offices also highlight the company’s commitment to contributing to the expansion of the local healthcare sector by providing cutting-edge solutions and technologies. H.R.H. Princess Astrid of Belgium spearheaded the inauguration, which was also attended by high level delegations from the Ministry of Health, H.E. Marc Vinck (Belgian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Guenther Schreiber (Director of Agfa HealthCare Export Region) and delegates from Agfa HealthCare's industrial partners, including Advanced Electronics Co. (AEC), Gulf Medical Co. (GMC), and Barco NV.

During the event, the speakers highlighted the country’s ambitious healthcare digitization plan, and commended the Ministry of Health for the extensive scope of the undertaking. The speakers also expressed appreciation for Agfa HealthCare’s achievements and investment in local expertise.
