Dubai, UAE; January 25, 2014: The American College of Dubai (ACD) has been granted Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research approval to offer concentrations in Finance and Marketing as part of its popular BBA degree program. The addition of these two areas of study was in response to an increasing trend towards specialization within the various business career paths. According to William O'Brien, President/CEO, American College of Dubai, “The addition of Marketing and Finance concentrations will serve as a potentially important discriminator for students seeking careers in these particular disciplines. As Dubai is a vibrant marketplace and a hub for the regional financial sector, there is considerable employment scope for graduates with Marketing or Finance concentration.” The college's enrollment is balanced between recent school leavers as well as working young adults – particularly in its popular evening program.
