08 December 2013 - Schön Properties, a leading regional property developer, has reported that their Schön Business Park project remains on-track for its scheduled completion by Q2 2014. The project, which includes 398 offices and 90 retail units across 1.1 million square feet in Dubai Investments Park (DIP), has reportedly gone past its 70 per cent completion mark. Once completed, Schön Business Park is expected to be an ideal location for countries that will be participating in Expo 2020. According to the company's senior executives, Schön Business Park was conceptualized to meet the demand for a flexible, location-conscious, cost effective office and retail space in Dubai. The project, which is approximately five kilometers away from the recently opened Al Maktoum International Airport (AMIA), has easy access to three main highways--Shaikh Zayed Road, Mohammad Bin Zayed Road and Al Khail Road and is also in close proximity to Jebel Ali Port, thereby making it one of the premier office locations within the Middle East. The Schön Business Park project will include two basement levels, ground floor and three floors--food & retail shopping (137 outlet units) on the ground floor and shell & core offices (296 units) on the first, second and third floor. “We are pleased to report that development of the Schön Business Park is right on track and we are confident to meet the scheduled deadline for completion in Q2, 2014.
