Istituto Marangoni Dubai, a leading higher education institution recognised by the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE), will host its next Open Day for Teenagers on Saturday 13th June, inviting young creatives to discover the worlds of Fashion, Design and Visual Arts through a series of immersive, hands-on workshops led by the institute's expert tutors. Open to teens aged 14 and above, the half-day programme offers an inspiring introduction to the diverse Bachelor of Arts courses available at the institute, including Fashion Styling, Fashion Business, and Fashion Design, as well as Interior, Product, and Visual Design, and Fragrances & Cosmetics. With programmes recognised by the CAA (Commission for Academic Accreditation), and a 91% employability rate for graduates, according to Doxa,, Istituto Marangoni Dubai equips students with the skills required to succeed in today's evolving creative industries. Set within Istituto Marangoni Dubai's campus in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the event provides a unique opportunity for young creatives to experience firsthand the dynamic and inspiring learning environment that has cemented the university's reputation as a world-class creative institution. Hosted by Istituto Marangoni Dubai's programme leaders, each in-depth session is designed to inspire and unlock the creative potential of every participant, while thoughtfully incorporating innovative learning and AI to support the students to reach their full potential. The agenda for the 9am to 1pm programme is as follows and for each of the three sessions, attendees will can select which taster session they would prefer to join: Session 1: 9:30am to 10:30am Option A: Fashion Illustration Workshop A fun, hands-on introduction to fashion sketching – covering drawing basics, body proportions, and how to communicate design ideas through illustration. Option B: Graphic Design Workshop Learn core graphic design basics through practical activities – logo thinking, typography, and simple layout principles to create a clear visual identity. Session 2: 10:30am to 11:30am Option A: Interior Design Workshop Students will work with a scaled floor plan and furniture cut-outs to create a physical collage that explores spatial organization, circulation, and functional zoning. Through this exercise, they will develop an understanding of interior design as a process of spatial logic, scale, and problem-solving rather than decoration. Option B: Fashion Management Workshop A fast-paced introduction to how fashion brands operate covering marketing, branding, and business roles, plus an overview of career pathways in fashion management. Session 3: 11:45am to 12:45pm Option A: Fashion Styling Workshop Explore the fundamentals of styling and fashion image-making, including body shapes, color theory, trend awareness, and how to build a strong visual concept. Option B: Fragrances & Cosmetics Workshop An introduction to the beauty industry and how fragrance and cosmetics ideas become products through concept development, branding, and consumer experience.
