DUBAI - March 8, 2017: Hotpack Packaging Industries, a leading producer and wholesaler of quality disposable food packaging materials in the UAE, has recently announced an investment of GBP 50 million to develop a facility in Wrexham - Wales, England. The facility will be equipped with the latest in packaging and manufacturing technologies. The announcement was made when Ms. Lesley Griffiths, Welsh Government Cabinet Secretary for Environment and Rural Affairs, and Mr. Philip Parham, UK Ambassador to the UAE, visited the USD 27 million, Hotpack head office and factory spanning over 360,000 sq. ft. in Dubai Investment Park. The Wrexham facility will be established as the UK & European head office and manufacturing facility and will potentially create 250 jobs in the region. Announcing the expansion and investment, Mr Abdul Jebbar P.B., Group Managing Director at Hotpack Packaging Industries said, “As part our global expansion plans, we are delighted to announce the investment and expansion into the UK. We are currently focusing on increasing our global footprint and are looking to establish the regions head office and manufacturing facility in Wales, UK.” “Our efforts have been recognized by the Welsh Government and they have been extremely supportive. We are extremely delighted to join hands with them in building great relations with the Government of Wales. Through our facility, we hope to create 250 job opportunities.
