This is the second award for the cutting-edge timepiece and the third award for a Rado innovation this year. With its index-free dial and deep grey monochrome colour palette, the HyperChrome Ultra Light is a meditation on simplicity. Naturally dark grey silicon nitride lends the lightweight matt monobloc case its notable hue. The HyperChrome Ultra Light impressed the jury of this year’s GOOD DESIGN™ award with its unique fusion of zen-inspired design and high-tech components. The minimalist monochrome timepiece is crafted from a trio of incredibly light high-performance materials - silicon nitride ceramic in the case, anodized aluminium in the movement, and hardened titanium in the side inserts and buckle. The result is a highly scratch resistant automatic timepiece that weighs only 56 grams - a remarkable marriage of lightness-inspired form and function.
