CITY WALK, THE BEACH, BOXPARK, Kite Beach, Last Exit and The Outlet Village, show national unity in support of UAE National Day Dubai, UAE; 3rd December 2016: Meraas, a Dubai-based holding company, joined the UAE in marking the nation’s 45th National Day, through a series of innovative activations across each of its destinations. Reinforcing its promise of creating unique experiences for its visitors and residents, Meraas has expressed its pride in the nation through a series of patriotic, entertaining and interactive events: A stunning firework display illuminated the sky at THE BEACH and visitors were also treated complimentary concert featuring the artist Faisal Al Jasem. Visitors to CITY WALK enjoyed traditional Emirati performances, shopped from local and international market pop ups, and experienced Arabian hospitality in the dedicated tents which provided Arabic coffee, dates and traditional henna artistry. The destination also hosted a lineup of 45 Lamborghini in the colours of the UAE flag. BOXPARK entertained visitors with traditionally-themed roaming performers and visitors to Kite Beach enjoyed a gorgeous patriotic display of UAE flags whilst shopping in the destination’s outdoor market. Shoppers at The Outlet Village had the chance to experience a show from Emirati folk musicians as they perused the stores, and took advantage of complimentary henna tattoos. There were parades of luxury cars at Last Exit, with diners also being able to take advantage of special National Day offerings from Café 71 and My Karak.
